Troub's Butcher Shop

Welcome to Troub’s Butcher Shop! My name is Marty Troub.  I’m a proud third-generation Arizona native born and raised in El Mirage, AZ graduating from Dysart High School in 1977.  

 

My son Chad and I are committed to bringing back the old-time butcher shop to our hometown of Surprise!

 

Our family has always enjoyed spending time out on the ranch. We’ve been going to Broken Box in Virden, NM for more than 20 years to visit, help out and spend time with our friends and owners,  Lonnie and Rachel Haught. 

 

It’s been our dream to open a direct ranch-to-butcher shop for a long time. A little over a year ago, Lonnie and I started working on a plan to make it happen. The road to getting here hasn’t been easy, but we’re proud of what we’re going to be able to offer our customers.

We're proud third-generation Arizona natives

The Haught family and the Broken Box Ranch are committed to high-quality Angus beef that is going directly to the butcher shop.  This enables us this ability to guarantee all-natural beef. The cattle are fed for about 180 days in Duncan, Arizona, and from there goes to Carter’s Custom Cuts in Safford, Arizona. The meat is processed and then picked up by us in our own refrigerated truck.

This ensures every aspect of the ranch to you is controlled by Broken Box and Troub's Butcher Shop. We cut from the whole cow so we’re able to offer you all of your favorite cuts!
